Healthy Mind, Healthy Body (PSHE/RSE)

At Aston Clinton School, we use the Jigsaw approach. Jigsaw is a scheme of work, aiming to prepare children for life, helping them to really know and value who they are and understand how they relate to other people in this ever-changing world. Please see the links below for further information.

At Aston Clinton School, we believe:

• In adapting our curriculum according to our children’s specific development, readiness and needs.​
• In ensuring extensive overlap between the three core areas, for example, Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) falls within both ‘Health and Wellbeing’ and ‘Relationships’. ​
• In using a spiral curriculum to develop knowledge, skills and attributes, where prior learning is revisited, reinforced and extended year on year. We therefore ensure that all information is up to date, accurate and unbiased. ​
