Parent Forum

Update November 2021

During the recent periods of lockdown, feedback from parents on a variety of topics was gathered via Surveymonkey, and then Parent Forum meetings moved back to being online. However, that did not work as well as previously and feedback was sought from some of the parent representatives as to the best way forward. As a result, rather than reinstating the Parent Forum, our plan for this coming year is to commit to the following:

• To continue to send out parent surveys to gather information on specific topics. This should make it easier for everyone to have the opportunity to provide feedback 
• To hold information evenings    
• To provide the opportunity for you to speak to governors at school events 
• To continue to have members of the senior leadership available at start of day in the school playground  
• To set up focus groups where parental input is beneficial for effective decision making e.g. Homework Policy
   

The effectiveness of the above will be reviewed at the end of the academic year, but we will ensure there is regular and effective communication across the school community.
