Aston Clinton School is a primary school, teaching children from 4 to 11 years old. We believe that our school is a special place where children can learn, develop and thrive in a happy and nurturing environment.

Our school was founded in 1847 and has seen many changes over the years. We have expanded in size and have modern facilities to support the teaching and learning we provide. However, what has remained constant is that our school is a place where all are welcomed and feel supported.

As a large school, we place a huge importance on developing the unique potential of each child. We believe education is about developing the whole child and so we have values education at the heart of our school. We teach children the importance of many values, which include tolerance, respect, responsibility and friendship.

We are a school that likes to celebrate success at every level. The life of the school is driven by enthusiasm and a desire to achieve. We promote learning that is active and creative and encourages children to embrace challenge and celebrate success. Our curriculum is purposefully broad and children have opportunities to participate in a wide range of cross-curricular activities as well as in music, performance and sport.

An essential ingredient for this to happen is teamwork. We view education as a joint venture, involving everyone – children, parents, staff, governors and the wider community. Through these partnerships we aim to provide the best possible educational experience for each child and their family.
