The Queen's Commonwealth Canopy
Wed 31 Oct 2018Thanks to Mr Bates, who applied for the Queen's Commonwealth Canopy trees, gardening club have planted 5 trees across our school site today. There are two Silver Birch trees, two Rowan trees and one Hazel tree. All these trees will enhance our school site and provide food and shelter for wildlife. We look forward to watching them grow. -
Our beautiful Clock School is finally restored and looks magnificent
Wed 31 Oct 2018With the roof finally finished, the doors freshly painted, new guttering fixed in place, the Clock School has finally had the fencing removed from its perimeter. This fencing has been up for over 2 years so it is a real joy to be able to see the Clock School in its full glory finally. -
Year 4 investigating a crime in school today
Wed 31 Oct 2018Today year 4 came in to school to find a crime had been committed in their classroom. They worked tirelessly to solve the case, using a range of skills including chromatography to identify which pen wrote the ransom note.
The accused person is on trial this afternoon. A full court case is currently in full swing!

Scarecrow competition
Tue 09 Oct 2018This weekend gardening club entered three scarecrows into the Baptist Church scarecrow competition. We were delighted, and somewhat surprised, to hear we were awarded second place for our school pupil scarecrow. Well done to the gardening club members for all their efforts.
